So far all of my non-Canon flash gear (flashes and triggers) works with the Mark II without a problem. And I don't see any need for the AD-E1 adapter unless you plan on needing everything waterproof as my EL-1 works fine on the new hot shoe.

Answer to my own question. Initial testing reveals that my existing Godox and Flashpoint flash triggers work fine with my new Canon EOS R5 Mk II. You don't need the AD-E1 adapter unless everything needs to be waterproof. For what it's worth, my exist...

I use both Godox and Flashpoint triggers on my R5 with the EL-1 flash as well as Godox and Flashpoint flashes. I have never had a problem with the triggers on my R5 Mk 1.
