I have to do that every time I start printing. Is that normal?

John, i have still a little smearing on the bottom of my print, just enough so i can not use the print.  Any idea what to do?ThanksMarc

I have Pixma Pro-100 less than one month and when I print on Gloss paper (5.5x8.5"), 64lb, 10.9mil, 240gsm on the bottom of the page there is black ink.  I have done several bottom plate cleanings as well as nozzle cleaning but i keeps on smearing on...
