Hi everyone !! I’m new to video/canon gang and am planning on getting a Canon EOS Rebel SL2 for content creation and cinematography. So I’m wondering does anyone have any recommendations for external flashes I can put on it or even what the flash looks like?? Thanks so much x

Note that the Rebel SL2 has been discontinued.
If you'll only be doing video content, you'd need constant light sources. Flashes would be only when taking photos (though constant light sources can also be used).
Though if you still plan on the Rebel SL2 (are you purchasing it used?) the User Manual states that EX-series flashes can be used (e.g. 430-EX III). Though I don't have specifics on exactly what features you could set on the external flashes or if you can additionally use the ST-E3-RT controller.
