Recommendation for External Flash and Triggers for Rebel T6

I have been using my Rebel T6 for quite some time with the discontinued flash 430ex. Can I get a recommendation for a more updated external flash as well as wireless triggers that would pair well with the T6? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I suggest getting the 580EX and keep the 430 as an external flash.
