EOS R50 V external viewfinder and flash recommendations

Hi,

I’ve owned a canon rebel t7 for more than 5 years. Just recently I’ve purchased a R50 V camera and am finding slight differences of what I like and don’t like and one happens to be a viewfinder for the R50 V camera. However, I’m hoping that someone might know what traditional viewfinder used for the R50 V camera and I know that digital external viewfinder is not going to work with the camera. Also, does anyone know what flash device is compatible with the R50 V camera I’m still trying to figure out which speed lite equipment might also work with it. If wondering I’m trying to do product photography or real estate photography just don’t know where to go in equipment wise.

Sorry I'm not quite getting what you need with the viewfinder part?

As to the flash, then the EOS R50 V has the multifunction accessory shoe mount only. This can be used with Speedlite EL-10, Speedlite EL-5 and Speedlite Transmitter ST-E10 directly. If you want to use other flashes with the conventional pin layout you will need to get the AD-E1 shoe adapter.

It almost sounds like you bought the wrong camera.  The R50 V is a videocentric camera designed for the run and gun videographer. It doesn’t have an optional EVF that can be added.

The R50 is a hybrid camera that includes a built in EVF.
