Like many photographers, I generally look all around me, mostly at eye level for photo compositions. As I was recently walking along a beach in Well, Maine seeking photo opportunities, I took the time as I was walking and looking down, saw this simple composition with a single fall leaf which just happened to get partially covered in sand from wind. I shot just 2 frames, thinking it might wind up a "throw away", but I was wrong. I call it "The Last Leaf" Shot with my R5 and RF 24-105 f4 L lens.
