Shot with an EOS R5 and RF 100mm f/2.8L macro. I would have loved to been able to set up my tripod, but these were taken hand held while I was hanging over a wooden rail 🙂
This is a Robber Fly female (Ommatius floridensis) laying eggs. She is about 10mm or 1/2" long, so fairly small, I could only get so close and had to crop a bit.
1/500th, f/8, ISO 8000.
1/400th, f/7.1, ISO 6400.

I've seen several complaints that it has really bad focus shift, but I haven't experienced that.
