Beautiful Nature

I am an eighty-year-old Retired US Navy photographer (21 Years). I shoot photos under the name Microdac. I love Canon equipment for many reasons. I use the Canon 90D as my primary Camera. It is a 4K camera that uses both EF and EFS lenses, which is a massive issue since I have used Canon lenses for many years. I have many Canon Lenses. Another significant issue is that the Canon 90D is self-focusing and takes 4K videos. That's huge! I aim to raise enough funds for the Canon R5 Mark 2, My final Camera.

Thanks for sharing, John. How is that Sigma 150-600mm lens?

Microdac,

Earlier today I ordered a used EF-S 60mm f2.8 USM Macro.  My interest in that lens was piqued by the photos posted on this forum that you took with that lens.

I had lightened my camera bag by selling a couple of lenses that were nice performers but I didn't use very often or excite very much when I did.  I wanted to replace my EF 50mm f2.5 compact macro as well (electronics failed and it is now a paperweight).

I'm anxious to receive the lens and hoping the seller's description is accurate and the lens will meet my expectations with regard to condition and function.  There are a lot of "little things" out there that I cannot wait to photograph!

Regards,

LZ

It is important to remember that these photos (as all photos) are files; files that the photographer manipulates into pictures.

In my case, I shoot RAW and then "manipulate" it into pictures using Photoscape. I do appreciate your kind words. Thank you very much.

Here's an interesting picture utilizing luck and a slower shutter speed.  Have a great day!
