They are also rather large. I can take out a caliper to get a more precise measurement. In this photo I tried to go after a certain look I could get with relative ease on film. I more or less got it with some tinkering in Pix. The setup was rather quick and easy, arguably rushed: a flood lamp directed at the ceiling. Exposure was 2600k ISO 125 1/8s @f4. Lens was Minolta 58m F1.4 Auto Rokkor PF.My nuts.JPG

Unique photo topic. Saw one that was nothing more than a closeup of colored rope on a boat dock.

Shiny and new is nice, but it is also just what I had on hand. Tarnished or even rusted may look interesting in a photo. Looking back, I probably should have used a polarizer.
