TWAIN driver for ImageFormula R40 won't scan 2-sided

Hi,

Our Town recently had all of our property files sent out to be scanned. We now need to scan our documents going forward, and the software has the ability to accept scans through a TWAIn driver directly.

Problem> the R40 scans two sided beautifully to my computer. But will NOt go 2-sided to the cloud software.

Hi,

The driver is able to scan 2 sided but Canon can only speak for the CaptureOnTouch software that came with the scanner.

If you are able to scan 2 sided on your computer using the CaptureOnTouch software, then the issue is not with the scanner driver.

Thanks and have a great day!

We are using DocMgt, a document management system that is cloud-based.

The tech support people at the scanning company who are hosting us said that it must be my scanner, and said the TWAIN driver doesn't appear to be 2-sided. He said the TWAIN is only used for the direct-to-program scanning; that the other driver operates my scans to my own computer. That was his explanation why 2-sided works for one and not the other. It doesn't make a lot of sense to me that the TWAIN driver would not be duplex-able, when the other driver is.

I think this answers the questions, although the scanning company is telling me the problem is with my scanner and not with their program. It's still not doing 2-sided and today it is having trouble speaking to the program at all (scanning stops after 2 pages, and sometimes won't resume).

So I am accepting the solution but I am still without a solution....

Thank you.
