Running Windows 10. The letter A is being scanned as a letter O. Some numbers being scanned are not accurate. Also, when scanning newspaper articles as a PDF or photo, the text is horribly inaccurate. I am mostly creating PDFs from paper documents. I would like to install an updated driver, but could not find one. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Hi,
This model scanner was retired and the last Windows driver Canon has was updated in 2017. You can try removing and then reinstalling the scanner driver by clicking the file below:
sd64-win-lide700f-14_0_8a-ea24.exe
If that does not work, you can try using the VueScan software that the Hamrick Corporation offers. They do have free software that you can test with your scanner. If you do want to visit their website, the address is www.hamrick.com. If you need support for this software, you can visit www.hamrick.com/support/.
