CanoScan LiDE 400 not working, program is not supported by the computer error

Suddenly, my CanoScan LiDE 400 is not working with my Asus ProArt laptop. I tried reinstalled the driver and the error message states "This program is not supported by the computer." My OS is Windows 11 and I got the drivers from the Canon official website. What should I do to make it work again?

Hello,
The LiDE 400 driver isn’t fully compatible—download the Windows 11 supported package from Canon or use Windows Update/compatibility mode.

Greetings ,

Current Asus Pro Art laptops use AMD and Snapdragon processors. Previous models used an Intel processor. If your laptop is based on an Intel or AMD processor, you can use the Windows 11 driver on the Lide 400's support portal.

If your Pro Art laptop is based on a SnapDragon processor, there is no compatible Canon utility or driver, there never was.

This means you are relegated to using native Microsoft drivers. These would be installed when the scanner is connected to the computer.

Please confirm the processor your laptop is based on.

You are right that my Asus Pro Art laptop uses Snapdragon processor. When you said I need to use Microsoft driver, which scanner app should I install to use LiDE 400?

Thank you!
