I have a question about the buttons on the Lide 400 scanner. Using the auto scan the option I get 300 dpi scans and I am not able to change the settings in the IJ scan utility to change these settings (ie 6oodpi). Am i missing something?
At this moment I am using the GUI of the IJ scan utility, using the 'Photo' and 'Custom' options, one for color photos and on for bw photos.
This works fine but using the buttons would be nice if these can be configured in the way you want.
Is this possible?
Satisfied with the quality of the scans!

Hi wimdebok,
Please use the ScanGear button on the IJ Scan Utility to scan and save with higher DPIs.
To do this, please open the IJ Scan Utility and click the ScanGear button.
In the window that appears, please click on the Advanced Mode tab in the upper right.
You can select your desired Output Resolution from the drop down list, or you can type in your desired DPI. If you enter a value, please enter a value between 25 DPI and 19200 DPI.
For more information regarding the Advanced Mode tab of ScanGear, please click here.
More information regarding the Output Settings can be viewed here.
