I purchased a XA60 on ebay a while ago and its in PAL is there a way to change it over to use NTSC frame rates? I've looked in all the setting and can only find 25fps and 50fps. Is there a way in camera to change it to 30fps and 60fps?
Thanks

Greetings,
Where are you located?
The xa60 was released in Europe and The US. The camera is hard coded based on region. To convert from PAL to NTSC, the camera has to go to Canon for conversion.

It's not inexpensive. You may want to consider a return if you are stateside.
You'll have to check with support to see if its can be done here. 1-800-652-2666.
Actually the second doc says the service is only available in Europe. You can inquire, but it doesn't appear to be available in the US. 🤔

I'll try contacting them and see about a return of if the conversion is available here in the states.
