Hey, there!
I’m endlessly frustrated trying to pin down an answer for this question. Is there any way possible to externally record RAW video on the EOS C70? I would rather not rely on flimsy SD cards that are both unreliable and far more expensive per gigabyte than other memory.
Is there a way to connect the USB-C port on the side to allow for external recording to an SSD? Is there any support for getting and HDMI RAW output in the works?
I prefer the DGO sensor of the C70 to other comparable models. I just really wish it would record to better media.
Thanks!

Greetings ,
The C70 does not record RAW externally via its HDMI port or USB-C. It will record Canon Cinema RAW lite in (12 bit) but only to its internal SD cards (with firmware 1.0.3.1 or later). External recording of compressed non-RAW footage like XF-AVC and MP4 is limited to 4K 60/120 10-bit on its HDMI port.
