XF405 How to permanently assign a button to Lock Exposure.

In the XF405 is it possible to permanently assign a button to Lock Exposure? At present I can assign the Custom button, but as soon as I turn the camera off it resets and has to be reassigned.

Greetings nilly,

The Canon XF405 does have the option to assign functions to a set of assignable buttons on the camcorder, but it appears that exposure lock is not one of the functions that can be assigned. You may review page 98 and 99 of the user guide to view information on how to assign a function to one of the assignable buttons along with a list of functions that are available.
