I have a Canon XA75 that is connected to a Datavideo PTR-10. The PTR-10 provides D-TAP power connecting for USB-C power. According to the XA75 documents the USB-C port requires 9v and the Battery Pack requires 7.4v.
The PTR-10 can be configured to provide D-TAP power for 7.4v, 8.4v, and 10v. Can the XA75 run on 8.4v for the USB-C power connection?

Greetings rjtampa,
We recommend on using a power source that provides the specified voltage for the Canon XA75. We cannot guarantee the camcorder will function if using a lower voltage than what is required for the USB-C port, and we do not recommend using a higher voltage than what is specified for the port since it may damage the camcorder.
