Canon VIXIA HF R600 Mic Issue

Hello! My Canon VIXIA HF R600 will not allow most external microphones I try and use to actually record. Instead, it records static or a buzzing noise. I have only 2 microphones, out of 6 that have actually worked with this camcorder one being wired, the other being a wireless.

When talking about compatibility with external microphones used on the VIXIA HF R600 and other camcorders, the mics need to meet certain specifications.  We cannot guarantee compatibility with products we do not make, although most that fit within these criteria work without issue.
