C80 xf-avc intra-frame format causes final cut pro x to crash

Recently received my c80, upgraded from c70. When the c70 came out there was a conflict with certain combinations of file formats that would cause final cut pro x to crash as soon as you attempted to preview the file. Now, the bug is back with the c80. It seems that any XFAVC 4k intra-frame format 240mbps, 360mbps, or 480mbps will cause this crash. For the time being I can use long GOP with no issues, but I really want this fixed. I am using the 1.0.2 firmware just released, with up to date MacOS 15.3 and up to date FCPX 11.0.1. I can preview the MXF files in Finder, so I know it's a FCP issue. I can transcode the files in Compressor to ProRes for editing. Davinci also appears to have the issue. Anybody familiar with this and able to provide insight?

Then perhaps you should talk to Apple about it?

I've tested every video format from the C80, on Windows, using Resolve, and have not hit any such issue.  I can play the files in VLC media player too.  (Just tried it.)

If it's happening in both Resolve and Final Cut, then maybe it's a codec that you have installed in MacOs, which is being used by both apps?  Unfortunately these things can get very complex, and I don't know how you would test that.

I'm asking everyone because I can't find a single reference to it anywhere and someone might know what the solution is. The c70 and FCP had the exact same conflict when it came out except it was only the 360mbps and 480. The 240 worked. Now it's all three. I should clarify Resolve seems to be able to import the file but it's got no video. I'm asking in the FCP forums now.
