R5C: Firmware 1.1.2.1 released

Just to point out that the R5C also has new firmware out, version 1.1.2.1.  Seems to work for me.

As usual, don't forget to back up your settings.  You will need to create a PIN, but the second time you boot the camera, you can turn PIN requirement off.

From the UK support site:

Firmware Version 1.1.2.1 incorporates the following enhancements:
1. View Assist can now be applied and adjusted during playback.
2. Enables display of the information below on [DISP Level 2].
-Recording Format
-Main Resolution
-Sensor Mode
-Digital IS
-Gamma/Color Space
3. Optimizes Focus peaking to reduce interference from noise at high sensitivity settings.
4. The "CN5x11 IAS T/R1" (RF mount) CINE-SERVO cinema lens now supports the following features:
- Metadata (Focal Length, T number, lens model name)
- Displaying T number.
- Periph. Illum. Corr.
- Chromatic Aberr. Corr.
- Distortion Aberr. Corr.
- Dual Pixel CMOS AutoFocus Compatibility
- [Focus Guide] Compatibility
- Supports Decimal Point Display of Focal Length
5. When registering a Look File, it is now possible to refer to the description in the Look File and reflect it in the Custom Picture settings.
6. Improves operational stability.

Ian,

Thank you.  I'm still on 1.0.9.1 as everything's been working fine for me with it.  Being able to use view assist during playback will be nice.  Happy holidays to you and your family.

I've also been watching some of your recent retro style videos.  👍
