C80: New firmware 1.0.4.1: ViewAssist works!

Firmware version 1.0.4.1 is now out for the C80 (at least on the USA support site).  Big news: ViewAssist finally works in playback mode, including Preview, on all 3 outputs (LCD, HDMI, and SDI).

Applying the update took about 6 minutes.  Don't forget to save your camera settings before updating.

The complete feature list, from the US website (I haven't tested most of these), is:

1. View Assist can now be applied and adjusted during playback.

2. Optimizes Focus peaking to reduce interference from noise at high sensitivity settings.
3. Adds the assignable buttons settings menu function:– Tele-converter [Tele-converter x1.5 / Tele-converter x2.0 / Tele-converter x2.5 / Tele-converter x3.0]– Subject to Detect [People / Animals]– AF Frame  [Small Zone / Zone / Large Zone: Vert / Large Zone: Hori]– Frame.io upload
4. Improves the responsiveness of Joystick-driven AF Frame movement, with faster initial reaction time.
5.  Adds compatibility with the "CINE-SERVO" cinema lenses "CN5x11 IAS T/R1" (RF mount) and "CN5x11 IAS T/P1" (PL mount).- Metadata (Focal Length, T number, lens model name)- Displaying T number.The "CN5×11 IAS T/R1" (RF mount) also supports the following functions:- Canon Virtual Production System Compatibility- Periph. Illum. Corr.- Chromatic Aberr. Corr.- Distortion Aberr. Corr. - Dual Pixel CMOS AutoFocus Compatibility- [Focus Guide] Compatibility- Supports Decimal Point Display of Focal Length
6. Adds a communication setting menu, making it now possible to select OpenLensIO-Equiv. Model.
7. When registering a Look File, it is now possible to refer to the description in the Look File and reflect it in the Custom Picture settings.
8. Improves operational stability.
