Hello, I am a new c500 mk II owner and I am not able to use the monitoring BT.709 (or any other LUT in the view assist list) when shooting in CLog 2, XFAVC.
Does anyone have any advice or is this a software or hardware issue. I did load my own custom picture profiles in user 10 and 11. I have a 3rd Party LUT loaded (after reset) but none of the monitor LUT's seem to do anything. The button toggles on and off the LUT icon in the OSD, but no change to image.
Many thanks. EOS C500 Mark II

Canon tech support responded via email and informed me that in the monitor setup menu, the "monitor" feed is NOT sent to the onboard monitor. I needed to select the viewing LUT for the "Video" port feed. Simple solution. I have an R5C and a C70 and the onboard LCD screens are called "Monitor" in the menu. #tribalanecdotaltransferofknowledge = ifyouknowyouknow! LOL

I have a video of the monitor LUT toggling off and on over HDMI (using the LUT button) and nothing changes on the camera's monitor.
