issues with brand new Pro 100

Just received my Pro 100 from B&H and already issues. Flashing orange light. Flashes four times so the guide says there's an issue with the ink cartrdiges. No ink cartridges installed but I still have the error message.

 

Decide to go ahead and install the print head and cartridges. None of them light up.

 

Unplug the printer and wait 30 min.

 

Not connected to my Mac yet.

 

Doesn't appear the head is moving left to right during set up.

 

Any ideas?

Check that all tapes are removed. Then, if its brand new arrange for exchange with B&H.

I agree with jrhoffman75, you can setup an exchange with B&H. If you run into any issues though, please contact Canon. They can replace the printer since it is under warranty if they can't resolve the issue.
