imagePROGRAF PRO-300 How to make a borderless 11" x 14" print

Sethjacob

Hello,

I'm trying to make a borderless 11 X 14 print with my Pro-300, it appears it's not possible?

When I go to create this print size, it's inputting minimum border sizes-very frustrating, since I need it to be borderless.

Any insight on this question appreciated,

Thanks,

Is 11x14 a custom paper size? Most Canon printers won't print borderless on custom paper sizes.

I have the same issue, and it's very frustrating as 11x14 is a standard photo size in North America.

I don't have the 11x14 paper to try it, but it appears you might be able to set a custom size in Canon Professional Print and Layout (PPL) and convince the software to print borderless even thought the "borderless" box IS greyed out.  You'll have to uncheck the "Maintain Slot Aspect Ratio" and live with losing your 3:2 (or 2.:3) aspect from the camera. (these numbers are reflective of printing in landscape, of course)
