When printing to the manual feed on the back of the Canon Pro-1000, you have to walk over to the printer after you've printed and press "OK" to activate the print job. Is there a way to disable the printer asking me to press Ok to the print job? When I send a job to the printer I don't want to walk across the room or from another room and answer a question on the LCD screen, I want it to just start printing. Is there a setting somewhere for this?

On the Pro-100 with a Windows computer there is a screen prompt to allow printing to start. On macOS that prompt doesn't appear.

Well, John, that was not the answer I wanted.
I guess I'm stuck with all my Macs.
Thanks for that answer. That was very helpful.

I think this also does not apply for the Pro 1000. I have not found any way to avoid hitting the manual print button. I think I may get a pole with which to hit it.
