Just got a used Pro 1000. My Pro 10 just bricked on me. He did not give me the print driver cd. Any hints for installing and setting up this printer? I noticed the online manual was the size of War and Peace.

I should add that it said an ink was out after it moved to the right. The main reason I want to manually move it is to replace that cartridge and see if I can get it to work.

This worked for me several times, but no longer does. I suspect I could get it working if I could manually move the carriage to the center. I can’t and Canon will not tell me how to get it to move other than rebooting (which isn’t working). Also t...
