My Pixma Pro9500 will no longer print in color.  The black and white images are fine, but the color is VERY VERY faint, almost non-existent. I did all of the maintenance available including cleaning and deep cleaning the heads.  Any help or suggestions are most welcome!

After cleaning did you do a nozzle check? Did it look OK? Is this happening with all images/all software?

Hello,

Thank you for the prompt response!

Yes, I did a nozzel check and it was not what I expected.  I did nozzel checks, before and after each cleaning attempt. All four of the printouts were identical. No missed lines, solid colors, but VERY weak pastel colors. The R,G,C,M,Y colors were half blank, whatever that means.

I printed two color images that came out with only the palest tiniest bit of faint color, green and red. My black and white images print fine. I have always used PhotoShop CC to print. I could try other images or software.

Give Canon a call at 1-800-OK-CANON. It sounds like the head may be clogged/defective from what you are describing.
