Just got a Pro-1 and a couple of packs of Canon "Photo Paper Pro Premium Matte" were included with the deal. Installed everything, but the instructions with the paper say "select 'Photo Paper Pro Premium Matte'" as the Media Type setting, but I don't have that profile. These are the profiles I see installed in Photoshop CC, Photoshop CS 4 and Lightroom 5:
Canon PRO-1 v1-1 new <FA> 2/3 Fine Art Paper Photo Rag
Canon PRO-1 v1-1 new <FB> 2/3 Fine Art Museum Etching
Canon PRO-1 v1-1 new <FD> 2 Other Fine Art Paper 1
Canon PRO-1 v1-1 new <FE> 2 Other Fine Art Paper 2
Canon PRO-1 v1-1 new <GD> 1/2 Other Glossy Paper
Canon PRO-1 v1-1 new <GL><PP> 1/2/3 Photo Paper Plus Glossy&Gold
Canon PRO-1 v1-1 new <GL><PP> 4 Photo Paper Plus Glossy&Gold
Canon PRO-1 v1-1 new <GLN><PPN> 1/2/3 Photo Paper Plus Glossy II N
Canon PRO-1 v1-1 new <GLN><PPN> 4 Photo Paper Plus Glossy II N
Canon PRO-1 v1-1 new <LU> 1/2/3 Photo Paper Luster
Canon PRO-1 v1-1 new <LU> 4 Photo Paper Luster
Canon PRO-1 v1-1 new <MP> 2/3 Matte Photo Paper
Canon PRO-1 v1-1 new <PT> 1/2/3 Photo Paper Pro Platinum
Canon PRO-1 v1-1 new <SG> 1/2/3 Photo Paper Plus Semi-Gloss
Canon PRO-1 v1-1 new <SG> 4 Photo Paper Plus Semi-Gloss
I don't think that generic matte photo paper is the right profile.
I thought perhaps I needed the Print Studio Pro plug in installed, but that was no help. And trying to use Print Studio Pro was no help, it opened but just sat and cycled in CS4 and Lightroom, never getting to a point where I could do anything with it. It never installed in Photoshop CC.
Searching the Canon site hasn't found me a standalone ICC profile for this paper. What am I missing? Thanks.

You might check to see if you have the latest firmware update. It is required to see and use the latest ICC and Art paper profiles.

Yes, I checked and I have the latest firmware and drivers. That's shown in the driver names above, where they say v1-1 indicates the latest drivers and firmware.

I don't know if this will resolve your problem, but in LR you need to select which profiles show up by choosing "Other" in the profile selection window.

The only choices I have under Fine Art papers are:
Fine Art "Photo Rag"
Fine Art "Museum Etching"
Other Fine Art Paper 1
Other Fine Art Paper 2
Canvas
To be honest, I'm surprised to learn that Canon Photo Paper Premium Matte is a "Fine Art paper." But I'll follow your suggestion and contact support.
