Print Studio Pro error message now

timdaugherty

I've suddenly started seeing an error message when launching Print Studo Pro from Lightroom Classic (10.3). I am replecating this error in Photoshop 2021 as well.

Running this on my Mac Big Sur 11.5.1.

I downloaded the plugin again from Canon's site and went through the process of reinstalling the plugin. Then launched Lightroom and still get the error.

Any suggestions?

Welcome to the forum.

Was there an update to your macOS between when it was working OK and now?

Check in the Security preferences to see if PSP is authorized for disk and file access.

Appears to be OK from a security setting standpoint but I'm not 100% certain where to look. I checked System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Files and Folders. I see where Adobe Lightroom Classic is there and all boxes are checked. I don't see anything specifically for Print Studio and am unable to add it manually.

Thoughts?

I just checked, and I don't see a security entry either.

Interestingly, today when I tried to run PSP I got an error (not the same as yours)

Check that you have the folders indicated below in the Library.  In Finder->Go to File type Library/Caches/

Yes, those are there. Confirmed.

My error was that those folders were missing. I created the folders and then it executed.

Maybe try rerunning the plugin app and manually nake sure it gets into the LR plugin folder.

Ahead of you on that one -- I did that before posting on here. Still get the same error.

You probably need to call Canon support. 1-800-OK-CANON.

We seem to have the same configuration but one works and one doesn't.
