While I was setting up this printer I noticed it is missing the printer head lock. I can’t seem to find where I can get that part. Does anyone out there know where I can get it? I’m also guessing that missing part is the reason my test prints turned out so awful?

Yes but it was purchased on Amazon through a different seller. It was risky but I couldn’t find the printer anywhere and canon is out!

They do not accept returns but I’m sure if I complain enough maybe I’d get a refund. But chances are low so I’d like to try and get it to work but I do not know if it will work without the lock me if so can I order that specific part?

Definitely reach out to Amazon directly, they should work with you since the item arrived not in new condition.

Bummer as this printer can’t be found anywhere and I guess in 2025 we can’t repair products

What other printer do you recommend that is comparable to the 200? Any brand is fine but in the same price range?

I am always wary of any purchase that doesn’t allow returns. Amazon Marketplace is not the same as Amazon.
