Hello,
I purchased a Pixma Pro 100 from some amazon warehouse deal, however upon trying to print the orange light kept flashing, which apparently meant the print head wasn't installed properly. After looking around I realized that the print head lock lever was missing so I couldn't get the lock to actually attached.
Now, this thing is huge. I'd like to avoid the hassle of having to return it if possible but it seems like those parts aren't supposed to be removable. Can this be fixed, or do I need to bite the bullet and do the return? And where would I even get the piece?

You could give Canon a call at 1-800-OK-CANON and see about the part.
But I would always be wondering what else might be wrong.
I would return it. And if you paid more that ~$130 I would ask for a refund and check/wait until Canon runs one of the rebate deals.
B&H Photo has one till June 30 for $150 with $47 worth of paper included, so printer is basically $103.
