Pixma Pro-100 B200 Error

will2create

For the last few days my Canon has had intermittent issues. Some times it works fine, others it won't fire up and flashes the B200 sequence.

When I open the lid the head does not move either, which I beleive is the source of the problem, because I can reach my hand in there and jiggle the head to make it function properly, sometimes.

My question: How can I manually get the head to move when it's stuck in this mode without disassmebly?

Shouldn't appropriate support diagnosing be made public so it can help others with a similar issue?

What the Mod is saying is that you need to work with the specialists. This board is not a technical support page. It's users helping users primarily.

Yes, I can clearly see what the Mod is saying, thank you. What I am saying is that this may be a common issue, and it would seem ideal if solutions we're posted openly to Canon customers instead of being directed to a specialist who will just likely request an expensive visit to a technical center.

Perhaps a better question: Is there a technical support group for Canon products?

Did you make the call?

Obivously the context was about a forum group. Clearly, you are of no help.

I wonder what your 5038 post were about..
