Pixma Pro 10 Support Code: 1270

hi my canon Pixma pro 10 is showing "Support Code: 1270 Printing cannot be started because the feed slot cover of the rear tray is open." but the feed slot is indeed closed. I've been trying for days, looked all over the web. Canon has terrible technical support. can anyone help please? Thanks!

Hi digitalion,

Please open and then reclose the feed slot cover of your PIXMA PRO-10 and then attempt to print again.

The feed slot cover is the part in the image below that is being held.
