PIXMA Pro 100 woes

i apologize in advance for my tone (pun intended). My frustration with this printer coupled with it taking 17 minutes to get past captcha varification to register to this forum and trying to finish my graphic design project has me super peeved.

so here are my two major problems:

1. blacks are coming out as looking grey

2. borderless printing scales up my images.

i am printing PDFs created from illustrator (using rich blacks mind you) on 8.5x11. How can i get this document to print, edge to edge, with true black and without it being scaled (for some reason). If the document is already set at 8.5x11 why does the printer find it neccessary to scale it up to print borderless?

Welcome. More info will be needed for folks to try and help you.

1. What OS?

2. Does a nozzle check print OK?

3. What media type are you using?

Borderless printing will result in some degree of cropping since the printer enlarges the image to ensure it covers the paper.
