I've had many issues with my Pixma Pro 200 and was sent a replacement printer 2 months ago.
I just now replaced the yellow ink (with a half full cartridge that I had before) and it's not printing yellow. I did the print nozzle test and the yellow is missing from the test page. I took out the yellow ink and shook it and when I placed it back in, the printer says it detects a genuine yellow ink. If it was counterfeit or something I could understand why it's not working right. I don't get it.
This was actually what made me get the replacement printer. But in that instance the majority of colors weren't printing. This yellow is from those previous cartridges I had before the replacement printer but when I got the new one I used what it came with.
Could all of the old cartridges be faulty somehow? They were sent to me by Canon.

Run a cleaning operation.

You mean the deep cleaning? I did do that.

Check that all the clear wrap is removed from the top of the cartridge. There is. Vent hole on top and if it is blocked ink won’t flow.
If that is clear give Canon a call at 1-800-OK-CANON.
