PIXMA PRO-100 Want to use a very lightweight paper

Wondering about using a very lightweight paper in my Pixma Pro 100. The documentation says the manual feed tray can accomodate from 4 to 23.6 mil (0.1 to 0.6 mm) (up to 93 lb (350 g /m2). It doesn't give a g/m2 value for the low end of the range. If my paper is 9 m/m2 is that too thin? Plus does anyone know if there's a carrier sheet I can use for this printer and whether that would be appropriate? Thanks for your help.

4 mil. (4/1000") is about what 20 lb. copier paper is. How much thinner do you want? Too lightweight and a paper will wrinkle, could jam, and the ink could soak through it.

It's a very thin rice paper that has a specification of 9g/m2. I don't have the measurement in mil. If that's too thin is there such thing as a carrier sheet that could hold my skinny paper through the printer? Thanks for your thoughts!
