PIXMA PRO-100 Group 1 print heads won't work

I didn't use this PRO-100 printer for several months. When I tried it again, I found that none of the 4 print heads in Group 1 (PC, M, Y, PM) worked. The Nozzle Checks for these heads were completely blank while the Nozzle Check for Group 2 were perfect. I went through the full gamut of nozzle cleaning procedures, each over a dozen times: cleaning, deep cleaning, manual cleaning and prolonged soaking of the print heads, without any improvement. I then went ahead and installed a brand new, genuine Canon print head unit along with a full complement of 8 new Canon ink cartridges.  Still no improvement. I carefully inspected the cables connected to the print head carriage and they all appear to be in good shape. It appears as though the signals just don't get through to the Group 1 print heads. Any suggestion as to where to go from there? I just love this printer and wants to get it going again. Thanks for any help.

Hi,

Since the cleanings do not resolve the issue, the printer will require service.

Ithe printer is in its 1-year warranty, I recommend reaching out to Canon support for your warranty options. You will need to register your Canon gear HERE to access additional support options.

If the printer is out of warranty, you would qualify for the Canon Upgrade program. This is for out of warranty units which have been diagnosed to require service or are incompatible with a new or upgraded system. This program allows you the opportunity to purchase a replacement product discounted from the list price. Free ground shipping is included with your purchase.

You can take advantage of this offer by calling the Canon Sales Department at (866) 443-8002 Mon-Sat, 9 AM to 9pm EST excluding holidays.
