How to switch from "Canon Color Matching" to ColorSync when printing from Photoshop? (Mac, pro-10)

zuru

Mac, latest Ventura, Photoshop last version, Canon pro-10 printer, driver v16.70

This is driving me crazy! Somehow the choice to use ColorSync (i.e., Adobe does the color managing) or Canon is totally random. Some days ColorSync is selected and today it's Canon. Since this field is grayed out, I can't change it, I already tried rebooting, reinstalling the driver, nada....

Anyone has any idea how to overcome this issue?

Here is a screenshot of what I get:

I actually tried the print menu from Lightroom and it's the same thing. If I use something like Preview, then one has the option to select the color management.

If the print option is "Managed by printer" then you get the choice of color management options.

If you select a paper profile in Lightroom then ColorSync is selected and the option to choose is grayed out.

Is this what is happening?

It turns out this is a bug in Ventura.
