Connecting Pixma Pro-100 to Imac 2021

Want to use new IMac 2021 with Pro-100. Migrated my files from late 2015 iMac to my 2021.   No USB 2.0 slot on 2021. Will adaptor work? If so, which one?

I have used this device to connect various peripherals to my MacBook Air. (My Pro-100 is WiFi connected, so I can't personally vouch for printer. But no obvious reason to suspect it won't work.)
