Canon pixma pro 100s not printing sharp text

Waltonlena

Hi,

I’m hoping someone can help me! I’ve tried different settings and different paper and I just can’t get my canon pixma pro 100s to print sharp, crisp text. It always looks rough on the edges and us more of a dark grey rather than the black shown on screen.
i need to print on envelopes.
I’ve included some photos for reference. I don’t know what to do!

I don't see anything wrong with the images you posted.

Hi, I don’t think it’s the paper. I’ve tried multiple different envelopes, and I just did a test on canon matte photo paper. It’s black. But still jagged. What do I try next?

I think you are just seeing the fact that the printer uses dots of ink.

Maybe some other folks have a thought.
