Hello. Recently, my Canon Pixma Pro 100 started printed the Cyan super light, and checking the test print, there also seems to be a problem with the Grey as you can see the orange vertical lines which use to be a dark grey. I'm not sure if these two issues are related although my primary concern is the Cyan.
I've done the cleaning, deep cleaning, and have also done manual cleaning several times with ammonia and other solutions with no change in the test print. Since there wasn't a change in the test print, I'm wondering what the issue may be.
I'm open to buying a new printhead although I wonder what the probability would be that it's not the printhead but the printer itself. It would be a bummer to spend a few hundred on a new printhead only to find out that the problem is the actual printer.
Any advice or knowledge on this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi,
Based on all the cleanings you have done and the issue remains, the printer would need to be replaced.
If the printer is in it's 1 year warranty, I recommend reaching out to Canon support for your warranty options. You will need to register your Canon gear HERE to access additional support options.
If the printer is out of warranty, you would qualify for the Canon Upgrade program. This is for out of warranty units which have been diagnosed to require service or are incompatible with a new or upgraded system. This program allows you the opportunity to purchase a replacement product discounted from the list price. Free ground shipping is included with your purchase.
If you would like to take advantage of this offer, please call our Sales Department at (866) 443-8002 Mon-Sat, 9 AM to 9pm EST excluding holidays.
