Canon PIXMA Pro9000 - alternating orange/green flashing lights error 9200

Hi all,

Doing some mundane printing of tax forms on my Pro9000 (original version).  Initial printing of forms printed black just fine but the entered text (a navy blue) came out light pink.  Opened the cover to see level of printer catridges - all showing full.  Tried printing again.  Nope.  Threw an alternating orange / green flashing light with instructions to turn it off and on again (10 minutes unplugged).  Still no printing.  Saw a note on another forum post that said removing the printhead and carriage contacts with IPA may help.  Opened the cover but carriage now does not move from parked potision and gentle tugging does not work.  I tried plugging and unplugging the cable between the printer and laptop and reinstalling the drivers on the laptop (MacBook Air running Big Sur).

Advice welcome.

I just tried to power on the printer and there was a brief green light followed by nothing. Checked the plug - all plugged in. No power now...
