I use the PS print setup tool where I select the paper, main feed slot, etc.

PROBLEM:Paper won't load. Several files have printed nicely. But then it won't load. . Pressing flashing resume button doesn't work Print center shows error..no paper or it says load paper and press resume. By the way, rear loading doesn't work either.

Please help.

Hi Archibald2,

When you attempt to print with 13" x 19" media, the manual feed tray should be used.

To load paper in the manual feed tray, please follow the instructions on this page:

PRO-10 series > Loading Paper > Loading Paper in the Manual Feed Tray

Once loaded, please make sure that you are selecting the manual feed tray in the print window of Photoshop.

If an error appears, please count the number of times the error light blinks and then determine the cause of the error by looking on this page:

PRO-10 series > Support Code Corresponding to the Number of Flashes of the Alarm Lamp

Patrick, Thank you for helping but I still have the same problem. I tried changing th paper to letter size and it did not feed. I get the error message ! load sheet of paper then press resume. Resume is flashing twice and I followed your instruction. Paper does not feed. I've tried multiple variations like restarting the print dialogue, rebooting printer. I've carefully inputed selctions into the PS Print .  When pressing the resume button nothing changes with two yellow lights continuing to flash.

I tried using another Mac, Macbook air and get same errors. By the way I used a Pigma Pro 10 for 12 years as a photographer where I printed hundreds of photos. I am using a borrowed five year old Pro 10 from a friend and it works for my friend. I did turn 80 recently and things take much longer to work now.

Can you suggest anything?

Bob

Hi Archibald2,

It would appear that your PIXMA PRO-10 would require service.  You are eligible for Canon's Upgrade Program. This is for out of warranty units which have been diagnosed to require service, or for some reason are incompatible with a new or upgraded system. This option allows you a one-time opportunity to purchase a replacement product, discounted from the list price.

If you would like to take part in this option, please call our Sales Department at (866) 443-8002 Monday through Saturday, 9am to 9pm. Let them know you have been working with technical support and the Canon Upgrade Program was offered.
