Canon 100s

What a mistake I made purchasing this pile of dog poo. Tonight I switched on this printer to do some printing, and get met with the "ink has run out" message even though the cartridges are FULL. Literally full to the brim. And now the printer won't do anything - keep complaining that the cartridge's need replacing.  Absolute shocking waste of money and Cano are running a cartel. Anyone else having this issue?

John - you are a legend. Thanks for that advice, now the printer seems to be behaving itself....
