Blocked ink ?

So everytime I use the printer I now have to do a cleaning and a deep cleaning at least 3 times before it will print properly, otherwise it will print all the black parts in bright orange. Is there a way to avoid having to do this? it eats up the ink.

Hello!

So that the Community can help you better, we will need to know exactly what model printer you're using (it's usually on the top or front of the unit), any error messages you're seeing, and the Computer Operating System you're using (Windows Vista/7/8/10 or macOS 10.x/11.x), as well as the way you connect to your device (USB or WiFi).

Any other details you'd like to give will only help the Community better understand your issue!

Yes good point okay

I use a Pixma Pro 100 - no error messages - I use windows 10 Home and  I connect via USB cord.

Check your black ink cartridge and see if perhaps any of the clear wrap is stuck on the top of the cartridge.
