Hello.
This inquiry is specific to scanning on the imageRUNNER ADVANCE DX C3926.
We have several of these copiers where I work, each in different departments. All have been programmed with multiple one-touch destinations on our server. My goal is to set the scan file name to have an identifying default prefix indicating which department it came from.
For example, if someone in Finance needs to scan something to Human Resources, they would go to their copier, select "HR" to scan to and the end product would be "FIN_(date & time).pdf" in the Human Resources department's folder.
I've found where the user could set a file name with a Favorite Settings button each time they scan, but I would like to make it permanently assigned to the device to eliminate potential user error of forgetting to take that step.
Could someone please give me step by step instructions to achieve this goal?
Thanks in advance.
