Our office has an Image Pro Graph TX 3000. It requires the admin password to update firmware. However, when I put in the serial number, it showed that the password was wrong. No one who currently works in the office was around when this machine was purchased. We have reached out to the retired IT manager who states he never changed it. Is there a way to do a hard reset back to the factory settings so we can gain access?

Admin Password and Serial numbers are two different things.
Does the label on the printer also show an Admin password? If it was never changed, it would work.

It does not. Google stated the factory admin password is the serial number, which does not work either

"Google stated"? How about Canon Support, which this Forum isn't?

That is why I am here

The admin password (unless changed) is the serial number of the printer all caps. This is through the web interface not the panel. If the password was forgotten and set by someone you will need to reset the system. Page 555 of the user manual is a place to start.

Also, just try a blank password on the panel.
