Good afternoon, I have a query, we have a Canon ir1643i II, and the systems guy who was there before wrote a password but no longer works with us, but we don't know how to remove that password, could you guide me?

While our Forum Community members are welcome to chime in, Canon does not provide direct support for imageRUNNER series products, but your dealer will be able to help you!
If you don't have a dealer, please call us at 1-800-OK-CANON (1-800-652-2666) and we will be happy to provide you with the names of dealers who are in your area!

This is not something easily done by an end user I am afraid. As Canon said you would need to contact the 800 number or your local dealer for the easy resolution. Sorry to hear your former IT guy messed you up like that.
