Hello,
We have had our Canon Arizona 1360 GT for around a year and a half. From the very beginning, we have had difficulties with the ink. We were set up with the Glossy ink, then 5 months later, we switched to matte ink. This did help, but we continued to find ink was still chipping on the edges of graphics, mostly on certain colors. Red is a HUGE issue with chipping.
We have worked with Canon Illinois and had benchmarks done. Still, chipping seems to be an issue. We have done a lot of work on our end to get it to where we want it.
At this point, we were thinking of hiring an analyst, but I wanted to reach out and see if anyone has had this issue. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hi vhomuth,
We have the same printer. Lately I had noticed Red also being prone to chipping. I don't have a solution unfortunately. We are starting to dive into it. Checking the UV lamps for proper curing, making sure material is meant for digital printing, and looking to try some AP (adhesion promoters).
If you have any updates I would love to know!

Unfortunately no, and now I am seeing the red ink is chipping on more than just edges now.
I guarantee it is the ink formula. Adhesion to several surfaces have not been issues with the past printers, but with the 1360 GT, I am finding this is the biggest issue.
Did you find the adhesion promoter worked? Have you tried it?
