Canon PRO-4000 and PRO-6000 both have ink starvation problem

Hello,
we are getting soft banding on dark grey areas (Please see attached image).
I already did:
1. Firmware update;
2. Disassembled cover panels and checked for air bubbles;
3. Replaced print heads;
4. Increased Ink Dry time up to 3-9 sec;
5. Drilled holes in grey and black ink cartridges (so there is no vacuum);
6. Cleaned/washed with ultrasonic all purge pads.
7. Nozzle check, feed adjustment, head alignment;
All that didn't help.
We are having the same issue on both new printers((
Thank you for all your help in advance.

Hi again!  As we've mentioned before, the Canon Community Forum isn't always the fastest way to get help.  If you still need help with your imagePROGRAF printers after all this time and if you're based in the United States, please call our support line at 1-800-OK-CANON (1-800-652-2666).  We're open Monday through Friday.

And if you're not in the United States, please contact the Canon company that serves your country directly.  You can look them up HERE.

We hope to help you soon!

I'm curious to know if you got this sorted out in the end? I'm having similar issues posted in this thread: https://community.usa.canon.com/t5/Production-Printing/Banding-on-new-Pro-2600/td-p/499973
